Some tips for Blackjack

When I started showing interest in a few years ago in playing blackjack, a friend of mine gave me a list of tips and unofficial personal standards; where he got them from I have no idea, but more or less stuck to them and served me well, so I thought that it has time to share a little wisdom.

Select a table under minimum bet: 5% of their funds is about the maximum that you wish to bet per hand, and playing at a table with a minimum that exceeds that percentage is asking for problems. The danger is that with a high minimum table there is a risk of losing your balance before without opportunities to recover lost revenue.

Never split 10s: it can be tempting to play two hands, but 20 is not far from the 21st, so happy with what you have!

never 5s, 8s always: a pair of 5s must never be divided, but a pair of 8s must divide in all cases except when the dealer is showing a 10.

Always split aces: get a blackjack is, as they say, the name of the game, so splitting ACEs offers you two possibilities to do just that.

Palo de 17; No matter what his intestine, stick with what you have. Note that the dealer has to adhere in 17, also if you think that even for a second on the number of cards in the deck and how add soon you will realize that the chances of getting a 4 or less are much smaller than the chances of get a 5 or more - do not!

Covers less in use better the chances are that the player; the jump largest in the house advantage is between one and two decks, but rise, all already be less pronounced, with each floor added. Therefore, a choice between a deck of multi and single deck game, always go for the of a single floor; in a choice between a 6 cover and a set of 8 deck, which always go to cover 6.

Rules vary from table to table, by what the rules more favourable for the player a table reproduced by better is for you. Rules to look for are the rule of accountability; double down after the separation of couples; multiple pair splitting; and as re-split.

Remember that you're only opponent is the Distributor, to not look at the hand of anyone, is not their business and will distract it your game.

The rest of the advice I received was basic common sense and money management; bet anything that isn't prepared to loose, set limits, not gamble when you drink, you know the type. Anyway, I hope that these tips will be as helpful as they were for me.
